Some of the tastiest beef in the world comes from a region called Kobe, situated far to the southwest of Tokyo. Now, Hotel Okura's popular teppanyaki restaurant, Sazanka (Main Building, 11th floor), is offering guests a special selection of cut-to-order Kobe beef dishes. Prime 200-gram cuts of Kobe beef sirloin steaks and Kobe beef steak fillets are served from ¥23,100, and larger cuts are available at a rate of ¥1,155 per 10 grams. Enjoy either of these delicious cuts as part of a prix fixe menu that includes salad, grilled vegetables, steamed rice, miso soup, and Japanese pickles, starting from an additional ¥2,625. Specially selected Japanese fillet and sirloin steaks will also be served starting from ¥7,350 for a 100-gram cut.
